Champagne Veuve J. Lanaud is a Champagne house in Avize, in the Côte des Blancs.
- History: The house was founded in 1919 by Henry Léopold Tabourin, who named it after his mother Joséphine Lanaud, a widow.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate owns 12 hectares spread over 13 villages in Champagne, with vineyards on the grand cru terroir of Avize. Around 75% is planted with Chardonnay.
- Approach and style: The vineyards are farmed according to 'viticulture raisonnée', with a move towards organic growing. The wines are given long cellar ageing.
- Cuvées: The Cuvée de Réserve Brut (66% Chardonnay, 17% Pinot Noir, 17% Meunier) is aged for eight years in the cellar. The Cuvée du Cinquantenaire, created in 1969, comes as a rosé and as a blanc de blancs. The Cuvée Marie-Joséphine is a vintage wine of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged for at least eight years, with part of the reserve wine kept in oak barrels.
