Champagne Robert Moncuit is a grower estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs.
- History: The Moncuit family has farmed vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger since 1889. Robert Moncuit made the estate's first cuvée in 1928. Since 2000 the estate has been run by a later generation of the family.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate owns around 8 hectares in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and 2 hectares in Oger, all Grand Cru and planted with Chardonnay. In the renowned lieu-dit Les Chétillons the family has plots with vines partly dating from 1956.
- Approach and style: The single-plot wine Les Chétillons is fermented in tonneaux and stays in barrel until the April after harvest; malolactic fermentation takes place, there is no chaptalisation or filtration, and dosage is zero to very low. The estate's first Chétillons was the 2008 vintage.
- Cuvées: The flagship is Les Chétillons Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, a precise, lean wine; the estate also makes a single-plot wine from Les Vozémieux in Oger, among others.
