Champagne Régis Poissinet is a family estate in Cuchery, in the Vallée de la Marne, with vineyards on both banks of the Marne.
- History: Régis Poissinet began as an apprentice in the vineyards at the age of fifteen and took over the family estate in 2008; today he works together with his son Maxime.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate farms around 7 hectares in Cuchery, Baslieux, Leuvrigny, Troissy and Mareuil-le-Port. Pinot Meunier dominates with nearly 80% of the plantings, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
- Approach and style: The vineyards have gradually been converted to organic and biodynamic farming, with certification in 2020. The estate uses its own compost and no synthetic inputs. Dosage is low.
- Cuvées: The range comprises a handful of Champagnes, including Irizée Meunier (100% Pinot Meunier), Irizée Chardonnay, Terre d'Irizée (a blend of the three Champagne grapes), Terre de Rosé and L'Émergente. The estate has also released its first Coteaux Champenois.
