Champagne Henriet-Bazin is a family estate in Villers-Marmery, in the Montagne de Reims, which has been owned by the same family for four generations.
- History: Gaston Henriet founded the house in 1890 with two winegrower friends from Verzenay, in order to control the vinification and sale of their own grapes rather than selling them to the large houses. The name Henriet-Bazin came about when Daniel Henriet married Michelle Bazin, the daughter of a Villers-Marmery winegrower, in 1962. Since 1991 the estate has been run by Marie-Noëlle Rainon-Henriet, the fourth generation: she makes the wines, while her husband tends the vineyards.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie in Verzenay and Verzy (mainly Pinot Noir) and in Villers-Marmery (mainly Chardonnay), on Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. The estate is HVE certified.
- Cuvées: The range includes the Sélection de Parcelles Premier Cru, a Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru, the Cuvée Gaston & Louise Brut Nature and the Grand Cru vintage wines Arsène and Romance.
