Champagne Eric Isselée
Champagne house in Champagne.
Champagne Éric Isselée is a small family estate in Cramant, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs.
- History: Éric Isselée took over the family business founded by his parents and went on to release champagnes under his own brand.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie mainly in Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry, three villages with Grand Cru status. Chardonnay dominates.
- Approach and style: Each plot is vinified separately, allowing the estate to offer single-vineyard cuvées. The house makes blanc de blancs, with the sole exception of a blended rosé. A large share of production is exported. In Cramant the estate also offers holiday cottages and a guest room.
- Cuvées: Well-known cuvées are the Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs L'Authentique and L'Accomplie, alongside the rosé.
