Champagne Dubreuil Frères is a family estate located in Courteron (Côte des Bar, Aube) in the Champagne region, France. Production began in 1977 under Jean-Pierre and Marie-Ange Dubreuil, who turned the family history as grape growers into their own champagne production. Today the estate is run by their daughters Laurence and Estelle Dubreuil, together with Laurence's partner Sébastien, who continues the artisanal heritage.
The vineyards cover 8 hectares on steep Jurassic slopes, which gives a unique soil structure and minerality. The estate cultivates only two grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winemakers opt for sustainable farming (culture raisonnée) with limited use of treatments, with an emphasis on hand harvesting and careful selection of the bunches to preserve the authenticity of the terroir.
The champagnes are characterised by an honest and balanced style, without complex additions. The Pinot Noir provides structure and fruity notes, while the Chardonnay adds fine freshness and citrus aromas. Under the guidance of oenologist Jean-Pierre Rodolphe Lédé, the house releases a range of cuvées, from the Réserve Brut and Rosé to prestigious vintages such as the Cuvée Chardonnay 2010 and Prestige Millésime 2019. The winemakers strive for accessible champagnes with character that reflect the essence of southern Champagne.
