Champagne‌ Delagarde-Delozanne is an independent wine producer (Vigneron Indépendant) in Serzy-et-Prin, run by Valérie and Vincent Delagarde. The house combines the Delagarde and Delozanne families, who have six generations of winegrowing history.

History The families originally lived 7 km apart between the Monts de Reims and the Vallée de l'Ardre. In 2000 they took over the family estate in Serzy-et-Prin, followed in 2005 by the vineyards in Germigny and Rosnay on the Monts de Reims. The estate expanded in 2016 with the premiers crus of Pargny-lès-Reims and has plans for expansion in 2025 to the area around Janvry.

Vineyards and Terroir The estate has approximately 9 hectares of vineyards spread over seven villages, with soil consisting mainly of clay and limestone. The grape varieties are divided as follows:

Pinot Meunier (74-78%): for fruity and gastronomic aromas.
Pinot Noir (13.5%): for body and power.
Chardonnay (8.5-12.5%): for finesse and elegance.

Approach As a Récoltant Manipulant the champagnes are pressed, vinified and aged entirely on the estate. Vinification takes place in stainless steel and enamelled tanks with a capacity of 1,500 hl. The wine is made plot by plot to preserve the specific characteristics of the terroirs. The champagnes age between 3 and 10 years in the cellars before being launched.

Champagnes and Prices The champagnes are sold under the brands Champagne V.Delagarde and the Collection Delozanne. The range includes classics such as Brut Tradition, Cuvée Excellence, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Brut Rosé and Millésimé (e.g. 2011, 2019). Prices generally range between €20 and €40 per bottle. The house has won several awards, including silver medals and stars in the Guide Hachette.
