History: The Roulot family planted their first vineyards in 1962 (some sources say 1965) in La Chapelle-Monthodon, in the Marne valley. Bruno Roulot, the second-generation winegrower, established himself as an independent wine merchant in 1981 and launched his own brand. Since 2013 the estate has been managed in partnership with his son Benoît Roulot.
Vineyards and Approach: The estate has 6 hectares of vineyards spread over six villages, which makes for a diverse blend. The grape varieties are 80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, with respect for nature and traditions. The champagnes are produced from vineyard to bottle by the family itself, with careful blends of different grape varieties and vintages.
Champagnes and Awards: The range includes various cuvées such as Brut Tradition, Prestige, Blanc de Blancs, Millésime, Rosé and Zero Dosage. The champagnes have won several medals, including Gold for the Cuvée Prestige (2022) and Silver for Brut Tradition (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019). Visitors can visit the estate by appointment, enjoying a surprising tasting at a reasonable price.
