Champagne Alfred Tritant is a small family estate in Bouzy, on the southern slope of the Montagne de Reims. As a récoltant-manipulant, the house makes its champagnes exclusively from its own grapes.
- History: The estate dates from around 1930 and came to Jean-Luc Weber-Tritant through his maternal grandfather.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate covers about 3 hectares, spread over numerous plots in the grand cru villages of Bouzy and Ambonnay. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the main grapes.
- Approach and style: The vineyards have been certified organic since the 2023 harvest, and sheep are used for grazing between the vines.
- Cuvées: The range includes Mon Essentiel (roughly two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay), Mes Racines, L'Instant Blanc, Mon Rosé and a vintage wine. The estate also makes a still red Bouzy Rouge.
