Champagne Olivier Rousseaux is an independent wine house in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay (Montagne de Reims), located at 21 rue de Mailly, 51360 Verzenay. The estate is managed by a family of vignerons now in its fourth generation. History The estate began after the Second World War with Robert Lécompère, a cooper who invested in winegrowing. The village of Verzenay
Verzenay lies in the Marne department, on the northern flank of the Montagne de Reims, south-east of Reims. The village has Grand Cru status. Vineyards: the largely north-facing slopes on chalk are planted predominantly with pinot noir, complemented by chardonnay.
