Sillery is a wine village in the Marne department (51), south-east of Reims, on the north-eastern edge of the Montagne de Reims, in the Grande Montagne.
- Cru: Sillery has Grand Cru status.
- Vineyards: the vineyards lie on gentle slopes and on the plain at the foot of the Montagne, on chalk. Pinot noir and chardonnay are the main grapes.
- Character: the champagnes are fine and elegant, with the structure of pinot noir and the freshness of chardonnay.
- History: in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the name Sillery was one of the most famous wine names in Champagne, partly thanks to the Marquises of Sillery from the Brûlart family.
- Producers: those working in the village include François Secondé.
