Charles Lafitte is a champagne brand that belongs to the group of Paul-François Vranken, today's Vranken-Pommery, which also includes Pommery, Demoiselle and Heidsieck.
- History: The Vranken group took over the Charles Lafitte brand and relaunched it from 1983. That year the first bottles, wrapped in black and silver paper, appeared on the European market.
- Approach and style: The Charles Lafitte champagnes are made from the three classic grape varieties of Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
- Cuvées: The best-known wine is the prestige cuvée Orgueil de France, presented in a distinctively shaped bottle. It is a blend of grapes from grands crus and premiers crus. Orgueil de France is available as a brut and as a rosé.
